Her powers tended to keep her from feeling calm.
The constant assault of lights and images that only she could see – the auras and things with no names that distracted her, even when she was alone – it all kept her from feeling calm.
The cure came in the form of archery. The feeling of calm, of focus, that washed over her when the entire world was nothing but her bow and the target. The sweet feeling that came with the grace of slowly pulling back the string, of releasing a breath, of her fingers. sliding off of the string.
It grounded her – calmed her – in a way nothing else could.
